John Kavanaugh Emcee’s Right To Life Banquet
Pictured here is (left) John Kavanaugh, Kelly Lester (Center) and Louis Kavanaugh Jr. (right). John Kavanaugh emceed the Right to Life Banquet for his 2nd year and his Dad, Louis Kavanaugh Jr. did help out in a minor role but hopefully turning over the reins to the younger generation.
Kelly Lester who was the main speaker gave a powerful presentation on what it was like to go from the top to the bottom and back to the top again. She spoke of how she was raped at a young age and then when she confided to her pastor, she did not get the support she had hoped for. When she found herself pregnant and turned to a leading person in her church and in the community and they suggested abortion. She later worked for the same abortion clinic where she had her abortion and they put her to work cutting out any reference in magazines in the waiting room to babies, mothers, happy families and everything you would expect from the pro-abortion mentality. Kelly related that what eventually turned her life around was when she was being beaten in an abusive relationship and the man picked up a two by four and was going to bash her head but he suddenly dropped it. She realized that her life has been spared but did not know why. She later found out that at that moment her father was praying for her in another part of the country. The next day she left to go to her father and returned home to start a new life.
She is now happily married with six children and speaks throughout the country on the value of life and the protection of the unborn. Needless to say the Speaker was a big hit with the audience.

Shane and Stacy Lindauer Family Honored as Adoptive Family at Right to Life Banquet
The Family of Shane & Stacy Lindauer was honored at the Right to Life Banquet on Thursday Evening Oct. 5th as the Adoptive Family for 2023. Pictured here is the Lindauer Family (L-R) Colton, Stacy, Tyler, Shane and presenting the award was Louis Kavanaugh Jr. President of the Daviess County Right to Life Organization. The Lindauer Family is from Jasper, Indiana.
Each year the Right to Life honors an adoptive family to go along with their slogan “Adoption Not Abortion”. This was the 47th year for the Right to Life Banquet with draws members from Daviess, Pike and Martin County Areas.
Elected Officials Attend Right To Life Banquet

Shane Lindauer Dist. 63, John Kavanaugh who Emceed the Banquet, longtime President of Daviess County Right to Life Louis Kavanaugh Jr., Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, Kelly Lester who was the main speaker for the evening and Mike Fichter who is the President of Indiana Right to Life Organization. This was the 47th year for the Right to Life Banquet hosted by Daviess, Pike and Martin County Right to Life Groups. Over 400 attended this event.

Annual Right To Life Banquet

Shown here is Denny Smith of Odon Indiana (Left) as he is Presented the Pro-Life Award by Daviess County RTL President Louis Kavanaugh Jr. (Right). The Award was presented to Denny Smith for his many years of Service to the Right to Life Organization and for his work with the First Choice Solutions in Washington. In making the presentation Louis Kavanaugh Jr. acknowledged the work that Denny Smith accomplished while serving as a major fund raiser for the Pregnancy Care Center and raising a large amount of funds when the FCS bought the older building and converted it into a beautiful center now being used by the First Choice Solutions which helps young mothers with unexpected pregnancies. Smith was credited with his work not only with the Right to Life Board but also his work with the First Choice Solutions Organization.
